MIAJA GALLERY is pleased to present “Inner Reflection”, the third solo exhibition by emerging Singaporean artist  Ieo Gek Ching. A meticulous visionary, Gek Ching builds a mysterious hybrid creature universe. Using techniques of ball pen drawing without sketch base and paper collages, Gek Ching’s hybrids appear real yet covey a sense of mythology, solemnness and uncertainty. Her immersive realms seem to live on beyond her hybrids immediate visual impression – an inner reflection of her understanding on the beauty of nature and its functionality.
